Clarity: HBA rejects opaque, jargon-filled patent applications. Our goal is to write for a future judge and jury—intelligent non-experts—ensuring the document is clear and understandable. We provide context to the invention, transforming the patent application from a purely technical document into a strategic asset designed for persuasion.

Experience: Our founder, Heidi, has over 35 years of experience as an Israeli patent attorney and US patent agent. Rebecca has almost 20 years of experience in the patent world, formerly as a paralegal and latterly as a patent attorney.

Scope: We provide a portfolio-wide view, advising on strategic issues beyond patent writing, including handling IP when employees leave, changes of ownership, and tax implications. We see ourselves more as a strategic business ally than as a service provider.
